Regular Season Round 17: Spartak - Buducnost 66-75

There was a small surprise in Subotica where first ranked MontenegrinBuducnost (13-2) defeated their close opponent Serbian Spartak (7-8) 75-66 on Saturday. Buducnost dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak 's 26. The best player for the winners was American point guard Yogi Ferrell (183-1993, college: Indiana) who scored 19 points and 4 assists. Djordje Jovanovic (199-2003) chipped in 15 points. Montenegrin point guard Igor Drobnjak (188-2000) produced 15 points and Canadian Olivier Hanlan (193-1993, college: Boston Coll.) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Buducnost have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains first place with 13-2 record which they share with defeated Spartak . Loser Spartak still keeps top position with eight games lost. They share it with Igokea.
